Amy Richardson
Soprano Amy Richardson has spent over half her life performing on the stages of Tasmania. Having
studied extensively in classical music (graduating with a Bachelor of Music in 2002), Amy has performed in recital, opera,
music theatre, and oratorio. She has also sung with Jazz & Big Bands, and has lead-vocaled many a contemporary band.
In 2003 with her husband, Chris, she founded the Richardson School of Music, and their
exciting and unique approach to music tuition saw the school grow rapidly.
Amy is 'mummy' to Bethany and Joel with baby #3 due October 2006, and with her husband Chris, has dedicated
her skills to passing on a love of music to the next generation.
Christina Sonnemann
Harpist, singer, award-winning composer, teacher and writer Christina Sonnemann is well known in Tasmania
and regularly performs internationally. She is in demand as a soloist and in chamber music.
Christopher Richardson
One of Tasmania's most sought after and highly-awarded baritones, Chris is a regular performer on the
stages of Australia and has featured as a solo artist in numerous oratorios, operas, musicals, public concerts, recitals and
radio broadcasts.
Starting his musical career as a pianist and 'cellist, in the year 2000 he decided to pursue classical voice
and graduated with distinction in Performance from the University of Tasmania in 2002.
Chris teaches voice in his home studio in Kingston, Tasmania. Inspired by the creativity of a creative God,
Chris is passionate about song writing, music making, and passing on a love of music to the next generation.
